#71 Receiving Divine Downloads

And of course, it begins with a story. Here we go. Episode 71.
I was on the dance floor in Ibiza when I suddenly had a Eureka moment. I had to pull my husband over to a quieter corner to excitedly tell him about this brilliant idea. A total solution to a problem I'd been milling around in my head for ages. He listened. He nodded his head. And then he was like, Yeah, okay, cool.
Can we head back to the dance floor now? And as he was dragging me back, I was saying, but I don't want to forget this. Please help me tomorrow to remember this, okay? And he said, yes, I will. I trusted him with it, returned to our friends and the music and the fun and the dancing and by the next day, I'd forgotten all about it.
Some time later, I had a flash of remembering to tell him something about something on the dance floor. I asked him if he remembered. He didn't. Because that's what happens when you receive a divine download and you don't capture it while it's hot. And so this whole juicy, brilliant solution to my challenge remained obscured from my consciousness.
I knew it had something to do with my idea for the Rainbow Chakra Journey, an online program I knew I wanted to create, but I never took action on because I couldn't figure out the logistics of it. I mean, there are seven major chakras, but I don't want to run it as a seven week course. It would feel far too rapid fire to do one chakra per week.
But a seven month program felt like, geez, that's a lot of my time because I envisioned it like my high vibe journey and my higher programs. And those include a community forum and some live calls. And even making the program will take so much time alongside running my soul explorers membership Already for that.
I create a theme each month I host a live zoom gathering and i'm super active in that community forum. How on earth could I? Simultaneously do all of that and a seven month program And what when that round ends I need to turn around and do it again for another seven months for a new group My mind also went into, how much would I need to charge for a seven month program?
I like to make my offerings affordable for most, and not in the thousands. So, I kept parking the idea, because I couldn't move past logistics. It was now bugging me that I could remember having some kind of a grand idea about it on the dance floor, but I was busy with other things, and I never really gave it my focus.
Maybe this program wasn't meant to be anyway. And then, last summer, I was doing a daily kundalini practice for 40 days in a row with Deva Wild. It was called 40 Days to Liberation. Even though we were both in Ibiza, this was done online. I did the same devotional practice every day, with the weekly Zoom group kundalini class added in too.
One week, I missed the live session. So I set up my phone on my altar to do the replay. I'm going to do a whole separate episode about how I created this beautiful little altar in our bedroom without my husband even passing comment. It's some kind of a miracle and I have some tips for how you can do it too if you're interested.
How to create an inconspicuous altar in your home. Anyway, I was doing this kundalini class video and deva was guiding me to open my sacral chakra, the seed of sensuality and creativity And that's when it happened. I found myself getting into a child birthing position, opening my legs, placing my feet up against the wall on either side of my altar.
And I had this whole colorful creative birthing thing happen. I saw and felt myself giving birth to the rainbow journey right out of my cooch. This program I'd parked was now coming to life. It felt electrifyingly exciting. Immediately afterwards, I grabbed my journal and I wrote, uh, let me actually open up my journal to that page.
I remember it was two days after my birthday. So August 26th. Okay. All right. So I was writing about, you know, taking place in this, in this kundalini practice around this theme of liberation. I saw myself creating and birthing the rainbow chakra journey. I let go of all logistics and I just felt this release of old limitations that stood in my way of being a powerful creator.
It felt so amazing and I was just bursting to get started. But then, Gisela, my neighbor, came by. And then after that, the internet stopped working. I got hungry, did laundry, did more social media, and totally lost it. To be fair, I really do want the internet. Doesn't make sense for me to write it all out and then have to type it all up.
And then I wrote, This cute cat is still here, two weeks now, Mandu licks it, it follows me everywhere, lets me pick it up, still no owner found. Am I turning into a cat lady? I wanted to name him Nacho, but he's so sweet and gentle, it just doesn't suit him. And I'm laughing because, um, it's just so sweet to read about the cat that we found trapped in a neighbor's shed four months ago, because he is now named Nacho.
He did live up to that name and he is a much loved member of our family now. But anyway, back to the story. I never did recapture that energy after such a powerful experience. I got pulled away back into 3d reality. And once again, the rainbow journey went on the back burner until just a couple of weeks later, I was hosting the September online gathering for my soul explorers members.
It was a very practical workshop, channeling the Virgo energy and using the project me life wheel to check in with our outer world logistics, getting systems and routines back in order. And at the end of the call, lovely member Jude unmuted and said, I'd love it if you put out a new program. I've done the high vibe journey several times and higher, and I'd love to experience something new with you.
And I was like, ding, ding, ding, ding, the rainbow chakra journey. Hello. And this is a very interesting point. We so often need others to help activate our divine downloads. It was after Jude's question, I was again, I was in a Kundalini class, that I suddenly remembered the epiphany I'd had on the dance floor.
It was about making the Rainbow Journey be a self paced program that people can do in their own time. And if they want my support and a community of others to share their experience with along the way, they can join my Soul Explorers membership. And as soon as I remembered that, I had another divine download that sent waves of electricity through me.
I thought, hang on, I can integrate this into Soul Explorers. Rather than needing to devise the upcoming 2025 monthly membership themes and live calls, all members receive the Rainbow Journey as a part of their membership. So starting in January, they get the intro to the chakras video in the workbook.
From then, from February onwards, a new chakra module is introduced. From the root chakra all the way on up, drip fed in a really easy downstream way for the next seven months. Our live calls will be about that month's chakra. I can slowly create each module month by month and at the end of seven months the program's done.
I can then package it up and sell it as a self paced journey and finally have this out of my system and birthed into the world. So that is my example of the wonders of divine downloads. I think of a divine download you. I was receiving a message, or a sign, that feels like it's come from outside of myself.
Something my normal conscious self wouldn't think of. It feels like it comes down into my awareness from a higher, more intelligent source. When I receive one, it feels like a kind of epiphany. I feel immediate excitement either because it's the solution of something I've been mentally grappling with, or the spark of an idea that lights me up.
Now you might be asking yourself, how do you receive a divine download? Well, funnily enough, one of the bonus modules in my rainbow journey is going to be about the two currents that run along our chakras. There is a liberation current that travels from the root chakra and ascends all the way up to the crown chakra.
So it's a liberating energy that moves us away from fixed form, earthly concerns and towards spiritual consciousness. And then there's also a manifestation current and that goes from the crown chakra down to the earth plane to the root chakra. So think of how things manifest into material form, but they begin as Ideas, inspiration, divine downloads.
We can be so caught up in living in these lower levels of material form. That our upper chakras are not open to receiving. I'm so excited to be finally sharing all this in this program. So back to how to receive a divine download. Now I've never consciously tried to have one. I don't even think you can.
They just come more than ever as my spirituality expands and I move beyond purely physical matters. My third eye and my crown are more open and they're ready to receive. I will say they are definitely more likely to happen. If you, number one, create space, divine downloads require a quiet mind and an open heart, and they're not going to come when you're busy or overwhelmed.
So create space by engaging in activities that calm and center you, but then they also can happen if you find joy. So engage in what lights you up. Remember dancing for me, dancing, yoga, meditation, being in nature, anything that is a joyful activity for you, that's going to raise your frequency and align you with the energy of divine downloads.
Because you need to be in a higher vibration to even be in an aligned energy to receive. And then also set intention. So after meditation or in a positive state, journaling can open up the flow for divine inspiration. Allow your pen to move across the pages and see what comes out. Now, let's say you've just had a divine download.
Here's what I'm realizing by sharing this story. Number one, capture and share. Don't let it slip away. When you receive a divine download, write it down and also share it with somebody else. Hopefully someone who will remember it, unlike my husband. I did share about the rainbow journey with my soul explorers on and off as little mentions over the years.
And several of them have been kind enough to gently remind me. So the concept was never lost. The energy of it was always simmering in the background because I'd shared it. Number two, patience and growth. Divine downloads are like seeds, water them, be patient, keep nurturing them and they will grow. I did add visuals for the rainbow journey to my 2023 vision board and that same board hangs above my desk because I keep adding to it and I'm looking up at it right now and I'm smiling.
I was watering that seed every time I saw those rainbow visuals on my board. Number three. Divine timing. Sometimes divine downloads lead to immediate action. Other times they guide us slowly. Stay curious, trust the process, follow those breadcrumbs and surrender to divine timing. You will be ready when the time comes.
The truth is, I would not have been ready to create this rainbow journey any earlier than I'm doing right now. Now is the right time.
