Episode 58 of the Project Me podcast. Hello, and welcome to season four of the podcast. It certainly feels like a brand new season for me. Not only literally a new season with autumn here, but also I have just launched my brand new website into the world, kellypietrangeli. com. And it feels so light and right.
It was exactly 10 years on from the launch of myprojectme. com in September of 2013. And back then, my focus was on helping busy mothers to find a happier balance with their outer world logistics. That's when I introduced the Project Me Lifewheel tool to do a monthly date with yourself. Checking in on how you're doing with your eight key life areas to see what needs your focus in the month ahead.
And basically that's when I started sharing the framework for how I'd turn my very messy, chaotic life into one where I actually felt organized and in control and balanced and so much happier. And Project Me took off in such a big way. I remember it so well. It was September of 2013 when an email went out to all my friends and contacts on launch day.
And I wrote, This is one of those chain mails. Forward it to 10 friends sharing about the Project Me Lifewheel tool. Only, instead of something bad happening if you don't, Something amazing will happen if you do. And something amazing sure happened. Signups all over the world for the project. Me life will tool.
It went through the roof. I remember on day one of launch, there were already a couple of hundred signups and by Christmas, just three months later, it was a thousand subscribers to the Monday motivator newsletter. So if you are one of those who shared project me with your friends, Back then in the early days or any time over these past 10 years, I want to say a big thank you.
The ripple effect has spread far and wide. It's how it reached Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Africa, really all over the world. People started creating their own Project Me's and that's what I want to talk about today. The ripple effect, how our actions and our energies create an invisible yet powerful ripple effect.
But before I do that, I want to share that I am giving away two sets of launch prizes to celebrate the birth of kellypietrangeli. com. Prizes include a place in the next round of my high vibe journey program, Or my higher program, if you've already done the high vibe journey, an intuitive tarot session to give you guidance on anything you might be feeling stuck about, or you could win a soul plan session with me.
This is where I take the letters of your birth name and transcribe them to reveal your soul plan in this lifetime. Now that I finally have a booking page up for soul plan readings, I will do a podcast episode to explain how I became a soul plan practitioner and how much this modality is changing lives.
And I am giving away two of each of these prizes. So I'm going to be giving away two soul plan sessions, two intuitive tarot sessions, and two places on my high vibe journey program, because I'm going to be drawing three names from my earliest subscribers. So make sure you're subscribed. Those who joined in the very first year and have stuck with me for 10 years.
And then I'm going to draw three more names from everyone who has joined since them. My grandpa used to always tell me when I was a little girl, you've got to be in it to win it. And he was right. I have won so many prizes in my lifetime by simply putting my name in, and I now want to pay it back for all the prizes I have won throughout my lifetime.
I have won a trip to New York City, all expense paid, a sailing trip around the Bahamas. theater tickets, books, um, artwork. I've got the artwork right here. I've got this beautiful, um, photography that I won in a competition. Went to one time. It's still one of my favorite pieces. Um, I've won clothes. I don't know.
You name it. I enter prize draws. And if I feel really invested in the outcome of the prize, I very often win. So if you are continuing to tell the story, I never win anything. This is your chance. I've sent the entry form out already to my sweet subscribers once already, but I'm sending it out again on October 6th and I've extended the deadline to enter since I'm late in recording this episode.
I need to give you a bit of a chance. So let's say if you hear this by October 8th or early enough on the 9th, uh, go to Kelly Pietrangeli dot com. Join my newsletter list and then check your emails. I'm going to announce the six winners when I closed the entry forms on October 9th, 2023, the link to Kelly Petrangi.
com is in the show notes of this episode, in case you don't know how to spell my last name. That was one of the things I really thought, Oh my goodness. I can say my project, me. com, my old website. I could just say it so easily. I didn't have to spell it out, but with my new one, I'm like, Um, are people going to know how to say Pietrangeli, but I'm actually going to, when I do the soul plan podcast, I'm going to talk about how every letter of your business name carries a vibrational frequency too.
And when I ran different name ideas for my new URL, um, through this process. Kellypetrangi. com really did come out as a really good name for my business, so I'm sticking with that. So, back to the ripple effect. I wanted to write a poem for this episode called The Ripple Effect. It was kind of simmering within me and I knew it wanted to be expressed.
It felt poetic because of the imagery of tossing a pebble into the water and seeing those ripples spreading out from the center. I never sat down with a clear intention of writing the poem, and as of today, it still hasn't happened. I used to write so much poetry, and I was even in the poetry club in high school.
So with the poem still unwritten, and me really wanting to get this episode out, I have just Googled to see if anyone else maybe might have written a poem called The Ripple Effect, and of course, there it is. It's beautiful, and I am delighted to read it to you right now.
Drop a pebble in the water. Just a splash and it's gone. But there's half a hundred ripples circling on and on and on. Spreading, spreading from the center. Flowing on out to the sea. And there is no way of telling where the end is going to be. Drop a pebble in the water. In a minute you forget. But there's little waves aflowing and there's ripples circling yet.
And those little waves aflowing To a great big wave have grown. You've disturbed a mighty river just by dropping in a stone. Drop an unkind word or careless in a minute it is gone. But there's half a hundred ripples circling on and on and on. They keep spreading, spreading, spreading from the center as they go.
And there is no way to stop them once you've started them to flow. Drop an unkind word or careless. In a minute you forget, but there's little waves a flowing, and there's ripples circling yet. And perhaps in some sad heart, a mighty wave of tears you've stirred, and disturbed a life was happy, ere you dropped that unkind word.
Drop a word of cheer and kindness, just a flash and it's gone, but there's half a hundred ripples circling on and on and on. Bearing hope and joy and comfort on each splashing, dashing wave, till you wouldn't believe the volume of the one kind word you gave. Drop a word of cheer and kindness in a minute you forget, but there's gladness still a swelling, and there's joy circling yet, and you've rolled a wave of comfort whose sweet music can be heard over miles and miles of water just by dropping.
One kind word. Hmm. The author is James W. Foley, and I'm not quite sure I could put it any better myself. So that's the ripple effect. Yeah. Think about it. The ripple effect and the very nature of affecting change, how one small stone tossed into a body of water causes a ripple effect with almost never ending forward motion, and Yeah, the effects of our, our thoughts and our words spread out far beyond our immediate reach creates this ripple effect.
Yeah. So we can easily forget something that we've said or done, but the ripple effect has gone out there and it can be for the good and for the not so good. Everything is energy and the energy that we are giving off ripples out. Just imagine your energy when you're feeling frustrated, or impatient or annoyed and how that energy ripples out into the energy field of your family or your colleagues or whomever you're with.
If their own energy fields are high and they're feeling really good, then maybe they're not going to soak in your lower vibrations as easily. And perhaps their, their higher vibes are going to lift you a bit, but if they're already in a kind of lower vibration themselves, the ripple effect of each of you, you're going to create a super Soup of murky energies that aren't doing either of you much good.
I think of my early parenting days of when one of my kids was having an emotional meltdown and I responded with frustration or more likely anger. It only increased the undesirable energies. I wish I'd understood this on an energetic level back then. I'd have focused so much less on trying to get them to behave and so much more on creating high vibe practices to keep my own energies higher.
It would have shifted things so much easier. There are countless examples of the ripple effect on energy and how our vibrational frequency spreads out to affect our immediate surroundings and our relationships with others, but energy is not contained, and quantum physics proves that energy moves matter.
At the quantum level, particles and waves interact in a dance of energy exchange, demonstrating that energy has the power to move and shape matter beyond our immediate physical environment. But before I go off on, on some quantum physics, um, reign, I'm gonna, I'm actually gonna bring it back in, because I also like the simple, very tangible, examples of the ripple effect.
So you smile at the supermarket cashier and she said nothing but frowns and complaints that day. Your smile, your kind words, turns things around for her. Now she's more pleasant with the next customer. And that customer feels her smile, and is more patient and kind to her child, who's been draining her energy down every aisle.
And now, the child's energy is shifting, and they are calming down. The ripple effect of kindness is not to be underestimated. There's that saying, a person who is nice to you, but is not nice to the waiter, is not a nice person, you know that one? I don't think it's strictly true, but, that the person is just not a nice person, but, it's certainly something to help us to be aware if we tend to focus more on who we're eating with.
I definitely think grouchy waiters could be very nice people who are just having a bad day or who hate their job, so I try to throw an energetic love bomb at them, which is easier to do of course when I myself am in a higher vibration. Random acts of kindness are wonderful ways to create a positive ripple effect in the world.
And the easiest thing by far is to just be nice. Just smile. Just be nice. And then the next level, I guess, would be to do all things with love. You know, it takes more to do that. It's, it's, it's actually kind of easy just to be nice, but to do all things with love, you know, that takes, uh, that takes conscientiousness.
The more we understand the incredible energy of our heart, The more we'll be able to create a ripple effect of love. I teach this in my higher program. I'm running that program again next month and I can't wait. This is the follow on to my high vibe journey program. So the high vibe journey teaches how to raise our vibrations as we move throughout our day to day, learning to accept whatever life throws at us without spiraling downward and higher is about the ego and how to be aware of the part it plays in our reactions to others.
And it's also about the immense power of our heart energy. Higher is about love and being in the love vibration. I feel very passionate about helping others to live in the love vibration. It's not always easy, that's for sure. Our egos are so easily triggered. We get emotionally out of whack. Our emotions begin to drag us around like a dog on a lead.
Um, yeah, and you know, it's when we begin to Conscientiously and consistently live in higher levels of consciousness that we can see how the old us would have handled certain situations and how the new us now handles it. It is such a shift. It's amazing when you can say, Oh, that old me would have done this and the new me does that.
And yeah, I want this for everybody who's ready for that shift. Collectively, we have never before in history been so connected. Technology has brought us together. And I am in awe of how many people I now know from all over the world. In my Soul Explorers membership, we have a monthly Zoom circle gathering.
And in places like Australia, they set their alarms for this once a month. The call would be at something like 5 a. m. their time. And in South Africa, we have a member, Nicole Barlow, who often joins us from 10 to 11 p. m. her time. And, I just drew, I draw an oracle card every week for my Soul Explorers group, every Monday morning in the, I do a Facebook live, Monday morning my time here in Spain, and we share what comes up for us from the message from the card each week.
And two weeks ago, I drew the card sharing. And our message was about the ripple effect when we share with each other, when we share a story, when we share a challenge, when we share a resource. You know, we've got the, the online community, the, the forum where people can, can share. And when we withhold from sharing, we're cutting ourselves off from the collective and we're not allowing the exchange of energy.
And then this week I drew the card letting go and the picture on the card showed a drop of water falling from a lotus leaf into a pool of water and it shows the ripple effect like an actual visual of the ripple effect and I just love the timing because I knew this was the title of my next episode this week.
So putting those two cards together It's time to let go of hesitations and resistances to sharing, to understand the positive ripple effect of sharing. We don't usually see the furthest, furthest ripples out, right? We can't possibly know just how far and wide our words and our actions and our energies are spreading.
I just got back from my. Women's meditation circle here in Ibiza. I'm so calm right now. I don't know if you can hear it. My voice. I'm just kind of like, Whoa, I'm like super chilled out today. We had a guest meditation teacher. It's actually a man called Bergs. I already knew of Bergs from his incredible voice in several tracks on Spotify.
I love his voice. If you don't know Bergs. Look up his track, it's called Time to Remember. It's got lots of tracks, but I particularly love Time to Remember. I'm going to link to that one in the show notes. In his fine British accent, he tells us to stop over complicating our lives. And whenever I hear this track, I always return to simplicity.
Keep it simple, keep it simple. The old me used to really over complicate my life. And when I realized that, I just began to just Keep things so much more simple and my life is so lovely now that it's not so complicated. So yeah, today was incredible to be in the tipi with Bergs as he led us on our group meditation.
People take turns every week and yeah, we had Bergs today and he spoke of, and I couldn't believe it because I knew I was coming back to do this podcast, and he spoke of ripples in our minds and how at peace we are. When our minds are not constantly thinking, each thought is like a stone tossed in the water.
And when our minds are always filled with thoughts, we never get the stillness we are meant to have. Our minds are not meant to be constantly busy. We think so much. About the past, about the future, it's this constant narration, right? And through Berg's guidance today, I went deep into meditation. I stilled my mind and I went into the essence of who I am beyond my thoughts.
It was really incredible. And so, dear listener, we've reached that point. Time to relax your forehead. Relaxing your forehead drops you out of the thinking mind, brings you into the present, Take a long, slow, deep breath in, and let it all out with a sigh. I'm going to ask you some questions, and you can allow your answers to be gentle ripples in your consciousness.
No judging. Simply be curious about what comes up. Imagine yourself as energy, as a vibrational being. What kind of energy are you giving out right now?
Simply feel your energy.
What color is your energy? You could give it any color. What color is your current energy?
What shape is your energy right now?
Are your vibrations smooth, still, even? Or are they more jagged, spiky, irregular,
soft and fluid, or dense and stiff?
How far out does your energy extend?
Imagine that you're creating a ripple effect right now with your energy. How might others be affected by your energy? Do you want that ripple effect to go out with your current energy? Do you want to spread that into the world right now? Or no? Is that not something that you want to spread into the world?
If it's not, then imagine that you can shift your frequency right now by simply breathing into your heart. And allowing loving energy to flow out.
And give this loving energy a color. And a shape.
I am doing this too. And I'm imagining that mine is pink, cotton candy like energy. And it's reaching your heart right now. It's bathing you in love and light.
I hope you can feel that.
Okay. Take one more long deep breath in, and let it all out with a sigh. And may you be a positive ripple for the rest of the day, to all you meet, and all you do. Thank you for listening to the Project Me podcast. I've just had a look and there have now been just shy of 40, 000 downloads from just 58 episodes.
And I know that's because of the ripple effect of you sharing it with others. Thanks for tagging me on your Instagram stories when you share an episode. I am Kelly Project Me. Let's use the hashtag, hashtag ripple effect to share this episode and let's see how far and wide it reaches. Thanks. I'll let you know in the next episode if it reaches more people than previous episodes.
Subscribing to the podcast, wherever you listen, Apple, Spotify, Google podcast, that creates an algorithm ripple effect. The more subscribes and listens, the more the algorithms push it into the awareness of more potential listeners. And reviews help with this too. Plus I love reading your lovely reviews.
Thank you. And I'm so grateful if you would share my new website with anyone you know who might be open minded and curious about my soulful offerings. I'm not sending out the, um, maybe I will actually, the email that says send this out to 10 people you know. Maybe I should do that. Um, the website is kellypietrangeli.
com. You can find the links in the show notes of this episode, um, for this episode, I should say at my, at myprojectme. com. So I'm keeping the podcast page over at my old website, myprojectme. com. I'm going to keep that website open and up so that more women who need outer world logistical balancing can still download the Project Me Life Wheel tool and find all the resources that are there on that website.
I'm not taking it down because I know it continues to help so many people. So I'm just going to continue to pay the annual fees for, you know, keeping a WordPress site up and active and pay my assistant to clear it from spam and all that kind of stuff that needs to be done. But I just, I thought about closing it down and I know so many people it's really helped.
So I'm going to keep that there and my project me. com until next time, open your mind, open your heart and stay curious. We all need some space in our lives for the magical and unknown.
